hospital visit

hey-- just a quick note-- been at the hospital for 2 days with Maren, who had a fever, and due to her tinyness and preemie status required hospitalization. we're sure it's just a cold, but little bodies without immune systems have to be watched carefully, so we'll stay at least 1 more night while they watch her heartrate and wait for all the cultures to come back from the lab. so sad to see my tiny girl in distress. jes and grandma and linz have been on duty with Matthew and Evey at home, and i got to leave the hospital to hold peanut at home for a while today, so that's a nice break from the bleakness of the pediatric ward. keep us in your prayers-- we're hoping this will be our only girl that has to make a dramatic dr's visit this month! lol- melissa
