They prefer the bucket swings at the park, but our little swingset will do. With a little help from Mom, they are up and going. Their hair is wild and crazy from an afternoon nap. Each stomach full of goldfish crackers, milk and raisins. It is one of the last "warm" days of a Las Vegas fall season. Their little chubby hands hold tight, and they throw their heads back, daring gravity and catching a brief glimpse at the sky before they close their eyes and smile. Their little legs kick bravely up and up. They are so small and so big at the same time. Its these moments that God smiles on mothers with, you know, because He loves the crazy hair, the cracker rimmed-mouths, the stubby little legs. So, He transfers a little bit of their unbridled joy to us and we fall in love with our children all over again.
