I Hate Being Sick

Being sick is ridiculous. Let me share with you some of my thoughts...

Why do you feel sooo good after you throwup? It is an un-natural high. If you ask me, the whole vomit-adrenaline rush is disturbing.

It is the only time I really drink gatorade, so therefore I can't stand the stuff generally speaking. Plus, it is either associated with a really hard workout or throwup. One might ask why this drink appeals to anyone?

My child screams and throws up at the same time. I'm still trying to figure out how this is even possible.

Oh yes, and the aforementioned child also feels compelled to initiate us into his illness in public. That's right. Right in the middle of Kiddie Kandids. 'Cause it wasn't enough that my babies screamed and shrieked their way through the photo session, we had to come back, attempt to pick up our prints and vomit all over the entire place to prove what we really thought! The last time he was sick in Whole Foods Market. Dee-lightful. It was only as I cleaned up the pukiness that I realized that my own stomach didn't feel so hot!

It is sooooooo sad when babies are sick. They are so tiny, and they shriek so loudly. And they stop sleeping and completely abandon the schedule you painstakingly were getting them on, and they wake up at all hours, and they won't eat, and you worry, and they scream, and you worry and they fuss, and you worry and hey, they're a little better...oh wait, not. This is very tiring. ( I know, poor me.)

Why do the germs feel the need to contaminate my helpers? Poor Lindsey was a saint and took Maren one day and Evey the next, and the day after that she threw up all night. That's what you get for being so nice to your sisters' kids: a stomach virus.

Okay, that's it. I'm still lagging and a little tired. Almost too tired to rant. Almost.
